She is an award-winning radio broadcaster, author, edutaining facilitator, engaging mistress of ceremonies, polished plenary moderator, sex educator, thorough panelist, and unapologetic advocate, disruptor and leader-scholar. Dr. Dial is the Founder of Voycetress Media, LLC (www.Shaashawn.com) providing consulting services via curriculum development, professional development, facilitation experiences regarding justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, sexual and reproductive health, and voice over services. Shaashawn is the author of two books: Acquired Taste of Love: Spice Filled Poems to Please Your Palate and Estrogen in the Atmosphere and a spoken word CD titled VOYCEMAIL .

๐Š๐š๐ฅ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐š ๐Š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ง๐š๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ works with organizations seeking to improve their organizational effectiveness, with a focus on planning, team building, and building skills around conflict management. Prior to consulting, Kalpana spent over 25 years working on the issues of reproductive health, rights and justice. From 2012-2021, she served in leadership at Forward Together as the National Field and Policy Director. Her work included advocating for abortion access, comprehensive sexuality education, and addressing how shame and stigma can impact reproductive health in communities of color. Prior to that, she served as the RACE and Gender Justice programs director for Western States Center, helping organizations to build campaigns and utilize organizing to advance racial and gender justice. She has also been a reproductive health policy analyst, an executive director of a small public foundation, and a youth organizer. She is the mother of two teenage sons and has a cat named Whisper. She is an avid lover of romance novels, cooking and knitting. She is also a therapist, working to support South Asian, API, and BIPOC individuals and relationships at her private practice, Know Feelings Therapy.

Sponsoring the South Coast Diversity Conference, a vital event that will be held in both Coos and Curry counties. Your support is essential to the conference's success, and your sponsorship funds will directly contribute to covering the costs of our presenters, facilities, and refreshments provided throughout the event.

We are offering various sponsorship levels to accommodate different opportunities for involvement. Sponsorship Levels:

  • $250.00: Logo on event publications, 1 reserved ticket for the conference

  • $500.00: Logo on event publications, 3 reserved tickets for the conference

  • $1,000.00: Logo on event publications, 5 reserved tickets for the conference

  • $2,000.00: Logo on event publications, 10 reserved tickets for the conference, sponsorship table to share agency materials and 5 scholarship tickets for community members

  • $3,000.00: Logo on event publications, 15 reserved tickets for the conference, sponsorship table to share agency materials and 5 scholarship tickets for community members
